PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Members,
With Christmas almost here, our days seem to be getting busier.
Record Beef and Lamb prices once again shows that the world is still
screaming out for our product.
Although the dry is starting to grip many parts of the country after such
a wet winter and spring Mother Nature normally evens herself out.
It has been a busy year for Shorthorn with the Herd tour and Heifer
Sale taking place in the King Country and Taranaki. I would like to
thank all the breeders who hosted us on their farms, it was good to
see great lines of cattle.
The Heifer Sale held at The Parks property was well supported by
breeders and it was great to see some new younger breeders joining
the Shorthorn Beef breed.
Congratulations to Shane and Dot Dromgool for having the Champion PGG Wrightson Livestock are the naming sponsor and we are
